General Tips - N Gauge Train Cam
I obtained a small camera intended for use with radio control model helicopters. With a bit of surgery to delete unwanted attachment points (and fins!), it mounts onto a modified coach chassis and actually fits within the British N loading gauge. It also required changes to the camera head, since the original unit was designed to only point 30, 60 or 90 degrees down. Alas, when complete I found that the camera tended to glitch and suffer from short data dropouts every 8-10 seconds. Even, so the output is not too bad.
